ELECTION RESULTS AND OTHER NEWS
Elections were held Sat. Oct 13th, 2007 during our annual meeting and before our fall fishing derby.
President : John Doyle Jr. was elected over Earnest McLeod for our President for 2008. Earnest resigned immediately so John could get familiar with everything before the start of our 2008 season.
V.P.: Shawn Reffitt ran unopposed and will be your V.P. again this year.
Sec.: Roger Hoffman ran unopposed and will be your Sec. again this year.
Treas.: Tim Moses ran unopposed and will be your Treas. again this year.
5th Board: Ryan Powell ran unopposed and will be your 5th Board Member again this year.
NEW for 2008: There's been a lot of interest in members willing to volunteer to help with the club so we'll have a Grounds Committee and a Pond Committee for 2008.
If your a member and interested in either committee please email me and let me know your qualifications for either one. Depending on the amount who have an interest we'll probably have 3 - 4 members along with a board member for each committee.
Pond Committee will be for the overall improvement of our pond structure, fish stocking and quality of water.
Grounds Committee will be for the overall improvement of our grounds, structures and anything on our leased property.
Well here's to a great fall fishing season. Hope everyones enjoyed the Findlay Fishing Club in 2007 and we're looking forward to an even better 2008 season.
